The Entrepreneurs Guide to Startup Funding

The Entrepreneurs Guide to Startup Funding

A detailed Course for any Entrepreneurs seeking Capital from External Investors the aim to make you Investor Ready

This course guides the Entrepreneur through the stages of raising capital from external investors, principally Venture Capitalists.  The Course is presented through video lectures and backed up with a slide deck for each lecture which include notes.  The videos take approximately an hour and 40 minutes to go through.

The Course is structured into 10 Core Lectures which take the student from the starting basics, through Communication of Your Vision and Business, the Preparation of the Business and Financial Plans and has four modules on Pitching to investors.  The final Lecture reinforces the message by highlighting the key issues which are important to investors.

Each of the main lectures has a short fun quiz to reinforce the learning points.  How well can you do?

I also provide a PDF of the main slide decks with notes in an appendix to this file to enable the student to download the materials and share them with their colleagues.

There are bonus materials including a Financial Plan Checklist, a Business Plan Template and an Investor Readiness Checklist.  There is also a template for your Pitching Deck.

If you are raising Capital the chances are this is your first time and yet the people to whom you are pitching have done this dozens of times.  You need to overcome this Experience Deficit and ensure that when you get your one shot at pitching them you are professional, well organised and that you deliver a concise and relevant message.  Its hard enough to get funding; without the proper preparation, its nearly impossible.

I am sharing my experience with you to help you close the Experience Deficit!
